The sun eventually arrived to allow us back onto our pitch for training. Although still soft underfoot, 23 delighted footballers happily got mucked into the drills and the match. With Kieran’s team taking on everyone else, they found it very hard to register any scores because of the work rate and tough tackling of Mr Fegan’s squad.
After a very competitive match, Charlie was awarded Player of the Week for his tremendous work rate, excellent teamwork and great vision. The other Player of the Week went to Antoin for his fabulous work rate, his tackling and for making at least 5 blocks!
We now look forward to playing in the Magheralin tournament next Thursday.
