Thank you to Chris and Gerald from the Knights of Saint Columbanus who visited us today. They discussed their role in our community and what they do to help others.
Both Chris and Gerald were very impressed with our applications… and our handwriting! They spoke of the importance of being good, kind and generous people who think about others around us, and how our application forms resonated the wonderful people that we already are. The challenge now is to maintain and develop these special characteristics.
Finally, to this year’s award. Quite a few children were in the running for it and picking a winner was extremely difficult. However, through discussions with other members of staff, one person pipped ahead to become this year’s very worthy recipient: Harry!
Congratulations to everyone in P7 for applying for this award and well done to Harry for being such a wonderful role model for everyone in our school!
