Monday assembly
Welcome back to our first assembly of the new school year! An especially big welcome goes to all our new P1 pupils, who were absolutely amazing during their first school assembly.
Today Mr MacDonald explained our school rules and pointed out some special things in our school, like the kindness tree.
Miss McKavanagh introduced our school council and explained how they have used money they raised last year to buy lots of new play equipment for break and lunch time. She also explained how members of the school council will be out in the playgrounds at play times to help everyone feel safe and happy.
Mr MacDonald also explained the different things we celebrate in assembly.
Even though it was only our first assembly, we had a group of birthday girls who are 30 this week. We also had lots of boys and girls keen to share their achievements from over the summer holidays. Congratulations to our Gaelic players, soccer players, basketball players and swimmers!
We finished assembly by saying our school prayer together.
Looking forward to sharing all of our awards and achievements during this school year with you.
