The P4 and P5 class were very busy sorting shapes into different fractions. They had to remember that the shapes had to be split into EQUAL parts and that the number parts tell us what member of the fraction family they belong to. Two equal parts are halves, three equal parts are thirds, four equal parts are quarters and so on. There was some great teamwork on show and lots of great discussions being had!
