We revised our numeracy topics outside with four stations. Station 1 - The children took photos of symmetrical objects and using the IPad discussed and presented their findings. Station 2 - The children played shape detectives, describing shapes to their peers that they had to draw with chalk using the description. Station 3 - Hula hoops were used to create Venn Diagrams showing their chosen categories. Station 4 - The children estimated and measured outside objects using metre sticks and a trundle wheel.
